COKE PLANET PROJECT

KALIP-PUP have joined the Coke Planet Project of coke… This is an environmental project that deals with the theme of 10 steps to save mother earth… The first phase of the project is a blogging competition being competed by 126 organizations, the organizations who may qualify or will win on the blogging contest will have a chance to join the amazing race of the Cokebarkada.

A friend suggested me to read the speech of Oscar Franklin Barcelona Tan, a Tsinoy who has a law degree from UP (Class of 2005) and was working for a master’s degree at Harvard Law School.

It’ s inspiring to see and read speeches of fellow Filipino who make other nations stand and admire us. Maybe we came from unpopular and poor country but definitely we our wonderful people who can make a difference. May his speech inspires you too….

Isa ako sa mga tao sa likod ng partidong ito, mahirap,nakakapagod, mas mahirap pa ata trabaho namin kesa sa mga kandidato. Nandyan umagang-umaga, school ka na at umaga ka na rin makakauwi ng bahay nyo para matulog ng konting oras. Tila nga pinaliit na Pilipinas ang aming unibersidad, siraan, awayan, black propaganda. Exciting, nakakatakot, naranasan kong komprontahin ng kabilang grupo habang nag-iisa ka at hamunin ka ng debate sa maling lugar, maling oras at maling dahilan.

University Student council election, the time to choose student representatives, the one who can voice the sentiments and find solutions to the cries of their fellow student, Sa sintang paaralan nakita ko ang tila pinaliit na Pilipinas tuwing darating ang eleksyon,,, Partidong naglalaban at bawat isa’y hinahain ang knya-knyang programa. Pnu nga ba pipili ang mga estudyante??

Maybe I’ll be sound biased for i’m one of those person behind Kilos!pup- one of the major political party in PUP but before i came here I’m just one ordinary student observing and making choices from those organizations saying they are pro-students. Nakita ko ang gulo, siraan at dumi ng eleksyon, ngunit kung bwat estudyante ay bubuksan lamang ang knlang mga mata at isip sa tunay na nangyayari makakamit ntin ang pagbabago.
